Dear family:
How great it is to actually be here at North Hills and to call this home and you all family.  Even though we have only been here for a few short weeks, it is already apparent to us of the love that you all have for each other, and we are excited that we get to be a part of what God has already began here.  I would like to say a few words of encouragement that I feel are necessary.  Ever since our first time visiting North Hills, your graciousness and generosity towards us has always been evident, and we have always felt welcome to come and fellowship.  This is a testimony toward your obedience to the Word and to the humble heart that God has given to this great family.  I only hope that we can continue to grow in this same regard and even more so as we see the day of Christ drawing near.
My prayer is that as we grow together in love for one another, and for Christ, we would actually be “salt” and “light” to this dark world, and that we would continue to seek out the well being of our brothers and sisters in Christ around us.  We look forward to doing missions and other ministries together and watching expectantly as God uses us to be his ambassadors for him.  I had brought to mind 2 Corinthians 5 where Paul calls us to be ministers of reconciliation, and what this means for us.  That our message is “be reconciled to God” and that we share this with humility and love knowing that we only get to share this powerful message with others because we have first received it.  It is so great to be a part of a body that really sets out to do the “one another’s” in scripture and feel absolutely blessed to be welcomed in with such love from our new family.  It is hard to express with words how blessed we really feel, but we hope that this letter, delivered by Gods Spirit will help build us all up into one body.
