1 Thessalonians 5:11

1. How much time do you spend thinking about the return of Christ and what that means?  How should this truth affect our daily lives? (5:1-11)

2. Growing up, who was someone who came alongside you and encouraged you? Describe how this influenced your life.

3. How can we develop the kind of relationships that glorify God and grow the church? (Hebrews 10:24-25) Is the use of social media, text messaging, etc., a help or a hindrance to this process?  Explain.

4. What place does admonishment, exhortation, or confrontation have in your regular interaction with other Christians? (Colossians 3:16)

5. Describe a time when you engaged in a building project (House, fence, shelves, etc.). How is this similar to building relationships in the church?

6. How do the words we use help or hinder the relationship building process? (Ephesians 4:29)

7. How does having deep, Biblical relationships affect the church’s growth and impact in outreach, evangelism, and missions?
