1.      Where does the book of Joshua fit into the ‘big picture’ of the Bible’s story?  What is the practical value of such overview lessons?

2.      What encouragement did Joshua receive before entering the Promised Land? (1:1-9)

3.      How do you see grace displayed in the midst of Jericho’s destruction?  (Chap.6)

4.      What is foreshadowed by the destruction of the inhabitants of Canaan?  Why is this truth so important to understand?

5.      How is Jesus a conqueror like Joshua? What has He already conquered and what will He conquer completely in the future?

6.      In what areas of your life have you experienced Christ extending His conquering rule?
