Acts 20:25-31

1.      Why is it important for pastors to preach “the whole counsel of God” (v.27)?  What problems could arise if this isn’t happening in a church?

2.      How do you get to know people and what do you do to build deep relationships with them?

3.      How should a shepherd build strong relationships and get to know the flock deeply?  (v.28)

4.      How do you treat your most precious possessions?  How should shepherds care for God’s flock? (v.28c)

5.      Based on what you know about these animals, how is a fierce wolf a threat to sheep?  Apply this metaphor to a pastor/elder and a local church.  (v.29)

6.      Do you agree with people who think it is unloving and judgmental to fight about doctrine or expose false teachers? (v.30-31) Why or why not?
