2 Kings
1. As things got worse in Israel and Judah we see examples of gross sin (6:24-29; 16:1-4) and idolatry (17:6-9) that seems repulsive and worthy of God’s judgment. Do you view your own sin this way? Explain.
2. What are some of the blessings God has provided for His people from Genesis through 2 Kings?
3. What has God blessed you with in the Gospel (Be specific)? What can you do daily in response to this blessing?
4. How did God punish Israel (Northern Kingdom) and then Judah (Southern Kingdom) for their sin and disobedience?
5. What leadership lessons can we learn from Hezekiah (18:1-7) and Josiah (22:1- 2; 23:2-8)?
6. How have these lessons helped you appreciate the need for obedience, repentance, and proper worship in the home, the church, and in your personal life?
7. Where ultimately is our hope to be found (8:19; 13:23; 19:15-19)?
